Grundlag for konklusion (revision):As described in the note 2 to the financial statements regarding "Uncertainty concerning recognition and measurement", management has identified errors regarding handling of VAT. Management has reviewed the bookkeeping for the period 2020-2023 and estimated an provisional error in the VAT reporting amounting to DKK 24. 9 million for the period reviewed which are recognized as a liability in the financial statements for 2023.
We have not been able to obtain suitcient and suitable audit evidence for the recognized VAT liability included in the account balance "Other payables" as management is still processing a more detailed investigation. The existing basis renders us unable to determine the amount to be provided for the VAT liability included in the account balance "Other payables" and accordingly the impact on the income statement.
We conducted our audit in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and the additional requirements applicable in Denmark. Our responsibilities under those standards and requirements are further described in the “Auditor’s responsibilities for the audit of the financial statements” section of our report. We are independent of the company in accordance with the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants’ International Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants (IESBA Code) and the additional ethical requirements applicable in Denmark, and we have fulfilled our other ethical responsibilities in accordance with these requirements and the IESBA Code. We believe that the audit evidence we have obtained is sufficient and appropriate to provide a basis for our qualified opinion.
Konklusion (revision):In our opinion, except for the possible effects of the uncertainty on the recognized liability on VAT and derived effect on the income statements described in the ''Basis for qualified opinion'', the financial statements give a true and fair view of the company's financial position at 31. 12. 23 and of the results of the company's operations for the financial year 01. 01. 23 - 31. 12. 23 in accordance with the Danish Financial Statements Act.
